Do I Need a Large Audience To Launch My Course, Point #1: Size doesn’t matter, quality matters.

I want you to think about who’s in your audience, how many people are in it? Who are the people that are in it? What did what? What you know, what did they do? Are they your ideal clients?

The truth is, size doesn’t matter. Quality matters. You need to ask yourself, are you cultivating an audience that knows you, likes you, enough to buy your course? If you’re worried there’s only 10 people on your list and never launch, you’re never giving yourself a chance to create a runway. What do I mean by this? With a plane that is about to take off, the plane goes down a runway which goes faster and faster, ultimately fueling up with the power to take off. This is the same concept as a launch.

This instance is where you are cultivating your ideal clients and getting them to understand your perspective. Ask yourself, how will you ever grow your business if you’re holding on to a belief that you can’t launch because you don’t have a big enough audience? This will become a cycle. I want you to stop that cycle, and go into a place of leaping into faith. Take action!

Do I Need a Large Audience To Launch My Course, Point #2: Would you rather have a huge sphere of influence on random people, or would you rather have a list of potential buyers and clients?

Your launch builds your audience with potential buyers and clients. The distinction you need to ask yourself is…

  1. Is everyone in your audience a buyer?
  2. Are you just looking to create an audience of more followers in hopes that their buyers?

That’s a huge distinction right there. You don’t need a huge list – let’s say you want a $100,000 business this year, and you are selling a $500 course. $100,000 divided by $500 is $200. You would need 200 people to make that $100,000 goal.

Now, if you break that down by month, $200 divided by 12 months, you need just 17 people a month to buy your $500 product! That seems reasonable, yet this $100,000 goal is such an intimidating concept to people. If you need 17 buyers a month, do you need THOUSANDS of people on your email list? NO. It all comes down to your goal.
