Assume the intent to buy.

Your assumptions in sales set the tone for everything else. So I want you to look at the assumptions you’re making and ask yourself…

Am I assuming my ideal client is going to buy?

Are you using assumptive words in your sales copy? Are you assuming you’ll reach a “yes” at the end of your sales calls?

You need to start assuming that they’ll want to buy! Because if your offer is truly irresistible, they’ll definitely want it.

In this episode of The Breakthrough Business Babe Podcast, I’m sharing principles of marketing that are effective in ANY time and situation!

Connect emotionally.

People don’t buy logically. They buy emotionally and then justify it with logic.

So to make high-ticket sales, you need to connect with them on an emotional level! And it’s so easy to do this. All you have to do is care. Genuinely care.

Find where you can connect with whoever you’re talking to. Show a genuine interest in them. When they feel an emotional connection with you, that makes them feel secure enough to buy.

Emotional connection is always important, but especially so in high-ticket sales! No one is going to want to hand over large sums of money to someone they don’t trust or feel connected with. So make sure you build that connection piece first before you say anything about your offer.

Use the client’s language.

As much as possible, both in your written copy and when you’re speaking with potential clients directly, use their language.

You want to make your clients feel seen and heard. They want to know you really “get” them. So pay attention to how they speak!

Replicate their words in your copy. Take notes and repeat their words back to them on sales calls. I promise this small thing makes a HUGE difference when building trust and connection.

Breaking Down High-Ticket Sales and My Top Tips To Go From Connection to Conversion: The Bottomline

I’ve never forgotten something my mother told me when I was younger: if you don’t ask, you don’t get. If you do ask, you might get. I want you to remember that in your sales. The only way to definitely not get something is not to go for it. So go ahead and ask for those higher ticket prices!
