Are you feeling like you’re shouting from the rooftops and your people just aren’t hearing you? In this episode of the Breakthrough Babe Podcast, I’m talking all about why consistency is key to making sure your message is heard in your business. This topic is inspired by my husband, Jeffrey Gitomer, who has shown up consistently on nearly 500 Facebook live videos at the time of this recording! His dedication is proof that your presence in your business can make or break your impact as an entrepreneur.
But before we dive right in, let me introduce myself in case this is your first visit. I am your host, Jen Gitomer, creator of Breakthrough Babe and author of the best-selling book, Sales in a New York Minute.
And it is time to make massive breakthroughs in YOUR life. With each episode, you are going to move past your fears of asking for the sale, learn to build deep connections that lead to meaningful business results, and master sales strategies that will help you grow and scale your business. Each week, I will be providing you with tips to avoid common mistakes in your business, teach hacks to help you grow and scale faster, and teach you to ALWAYS ask for the sale with confidence.
It is time for you, the Breakthrough Babe, to create more sales, income, and connections in your business. Let’s get started!
And today I’m sharing the importance of showing up day after day, as well as how to measure the impact of being present in your business. For all the details, listen to ALL of episode 61 of the Breakthrough Babe Podcast on your fave streaming platform
How many accounts do you follow but never interact with? You may have heard me mention “Silent Sallies” when referring to social media. These are the followers who show up on your podcast episodes, your marketing emails, your social media accounts, just waiting to see what golden nuggets you have to offer. Maybe they silently consume your content because they prefer not to engage, or maybe they just haven’t been provoked to take the dive.
Just because you have Silent Sallies lurking around your business, that doesn’t mean they are less qualified to buy. Your next post or your next story may just be what it takes to push them into buying mode. But if you let yourself become discouraged by the silence and don’t realize the value you are offering by showing up consistently, you are choosing to drive your followers toward someone else who can offer something more.

If you’ve been catching yourself fading into the crowd, make the conscious decision to change that. Show up. That’s it – just show up! Get those Silent Sallies to unmute themselves and start engaging. Choose to turn your Silent Sallies into Sales by Showing up! (Look at all of that alliteration ☺)
These are the key points to creating more long-term client relationships. I encourage you, if you feel like you have been inconsistent on social media, email newsletters or wherever you reach your ideal clients, simply start showing up for your audience to keep them coming back for more. And ask yourself: How can you begin creating more consistency? How can you start talking to those Silent Sallies so that they begin transitioning into your DMs?
That’s it! You are the only one holding yourself back from showing up in your business. And if you are feeling the frustration of inconsistent results, share your struggles in my DMs on Instagram. Let’s take a look together at what you’re currently doing and what shifts you need to make to scale your business to the next level.
